Rare KLESKI BEADED HEARTBOX
This beautiful box has a modern heart shape. One side is longer than the other and it has a curve, creating a sweeping heart. The box is covered in a gorgeous bright red satin and the beaded cream and black beaded top is padded. The top and bottom slide together effortlessly and on the inside is the label of the artist, W. Kleski. The box is 8 1/2" at it's longest point and 5" wide. This pretty box would make a lovely gift or would be a great item to use as a gift box for a very special gift. Adorable Vintage Valentines Day Japanese Laquered Heart Jewelry Box
These jewelry boxes were brought back from Japan as pretty souvenirs from a far off land. They were popular gifts in the 1950s and 1960s. Some of them were music boxes and some were not. This particular box is not a music box. It was made of a light weight wood and lacquered with a pretty scene of Mt Fuji. The inside is fully lined and it is in great shape for its age; only slight wear. This pretty and unique box measures 11 3/4" long by just under 11" wide by 2" high.

someone once received a very lavish gift on valentines day as this beautiful red velvet heart candy box originally held a whopping FIVE POUNDS of delectable chocolates and bon bons from mary see's candy kitchens. man! here in california, see's candy is (and has been for nearly 100 years) a holiday mainstay. and of all the beautiful heart-shaped and other fancy vintage candy boxes, none are prettier or more chic to my way of thinking than those made for see's candy. sumptuous red velvet with lace and fabric millinery flowers make this valentine heart box a romantic keepsake for presenting as it is, or filled with treats of your own choosing. this is large and deep; it is in very good condition with light wear; a bit of spotting to the velvet, and some wear to the edge in one place but the fabric remains and is not frayed. there are numbers written on the back. inside is clean and in great shape; even the original liner papers are present. box measures 14" by 13"

A very pretty vintage red heart metal Valentine Candy Box made in West Germany, circa 1950's-70's. The lid has red flocking and a lovely raised embossed rose. Clean and usable as a candy or gift box, with only minor wear. Small dents on edge and heart tip. The crackled appearance on the base is deliberate (finish is actually smooth and shiny). The flocking is in beautiful condition with no bare spots. The raised embossed rose is nicely highlighted with black. The metal is silver color with a very slight gold tone. 8 1/2" across x 8" long x 1 3/4" deep. Marked on back "Container Made in Western Germany."

Fabulous vintage cardboard candy box from around 1970, heart shaped and gloriously decorated with a pink flower power design, replete with small flowers and, on close inspection, white mushrooms! Topped off with a pink ribbon and grouping of pink plastic flowers. This piece is just “happy.” CONDITION: The vintage wear and patina includes some light handling wear, light vintage soiling, some age toning to cardboard, etc. • Nice condition, very little wear, colors bright, etc. • Everything firmly together, no tape, splits, or repairs. • Noticed a slight scratch/indentation on lid at upper left. • Flowers seem well attached. • Opens/closes with ease. Approximate size of item is about 10.5” by 10.25” at widest areas, by about 1” thick.

My darling little trinket / keepsake box is a great gift for a special friend, a teacher, your hair dresser, or a little girl. It would look great on a dressing table or next to your bed to keep your jewelry, watch, or special keepsakes. The little box is made of a good grade of cotton fabric and lace. The box top and inside bottom are lightly padded, there is lace on the top and bottom edges and ribbon and lace decorate the top. There is both purple and lavender ribbon weaved through the lace with a delicate lavender ribbon bow on top. The box is approximately 6 inches wide, 5 inches tall (top to bottom of heart) and 2 - 2 1/2 inches deep with an additional 1 1/2 inches in width of lace along the edges. All of my boxes are unique, there are no two boxes made the same.
