This piece is 100% handmade in the USA from start to finish with my loving hands. This piece starts out from a fresh lump of clay which I roll out by hand. Then, I use lace, stamps and other found objects to impress the design into the clay. Finally, I cut out and smooth all the rough edges. The piece is then fired in the kiln and after it cools, I hand paint it with a glaze using a dry - brush technique to show every detail. It is then coated in a clear glaze and fired one more in my kiln. Once cooled, I hand select genuine glass beads that compliment the plaque and hand bend copper wire and string the beads. Made with my loving hands from start to finish! The perfect Valentine's Day gift! Because each piece is 100% handmade, yours may look slightly different then the one shown, this is a stock photo. It is nice and thick, measuring at 3/4 inches thick. It hangs from a self-leveling saw-tooth hanger, attached with two small nails on the back. The sign includes a peg (and hole on back) so that it can stand alone on a table or shelf. There is a final clear sealant.
