Handmade fox quilt in pink and red for little girl
Baby fox quilt. A scrappy fox quilt, 32” by 41” wall hanging or a fun baby quilt. This is a quiltcountry original design. The fox are appliqued onto the heart background with a premium fusible web and then edge stitched with a blanket machine stitch. The border is a random mix of crazy quilt style blocks made from an assortment fo geometric prints from my stash. 100% cotton fabric -front and back. The backing is a soft deep magenta floral and white print. I used Hobbs 100% cotton batting for a soft drape and antique finish. This batting will shrink up to 3% when washed, giving the quilt a soft cuddly feel. It is quilted with a white cotton thread in a meandering design with hearts and loops.

I also used this dark brown fabric as the border, backing, and binding. This would be a great gift for a little girl or a wall hanging or lap quilt.

Pink Hearts Girl Quilt
Pink hearts girl quilt is made with 18 different pink fabrics! I used a different pink fabric for each of the 16 hearts. The hearts are surrounded by a pale pink and white check fabric. The border, binding and backing are made from a fabric that has hearts in many shades of pink. The last picture shows the back fabric. That fabric was my inspiration to make this quilt! I washed all the fabric before I started sewing. Machine wash this quilt in cool water to keep the colors bright. Tumble dry on medium.

This quilt was quilted in my "home studio" in Hershey, PA where you can smell chocolate all day long!!! This is a whole cloth quilt -- that looks like it was made based on the famous Love Sculpture located in Philadelphia, PA. I guess you could say -- all you need is love!! In either case this is an adorable mini quilt (measures 37 x 45) and could be used as a wall hanging, lap quilt or even a crib and/or toddler quilt. The choice is yours. Bright pink adorns the back and the binding is made with lime green fabric (picks up the green in the lettering).
