Czech Glass Heart Button 32x35mm Vitrail Aqua with Gold Finish. When the light catches this aqua vitrail jeweled heart button it is so charming! There are rhinestones of ruby and blue aquamarine adorning the center of the heart. The back of this button is fully foiled for lots of eye catching flash. This is a very pretty and highly detailed shabby cottage chic style button, would be fabulous as a clasp for a special knitting and sewing project or a focal for a jewelry design. My Czech glass buttons are all made by hand in the Czech Republic by skilled glass artisans. They often times use vintage & antique molds for their button and are made in very small batches. Ceramic Buttons w Heart - Stamped "Handmade With Love"
These ceramic buttons say "Handmade with Love" and have a heart in the center of the button. They are handmade one at a time in my studio. Stamps were used to make recessed impressions while the clay was still wet. They were then fired and hand glazed with a bright red, then wiped down so each detail shows clearly, and finally glazed with a clear glaze. They were then re-fired to a very durable high cone 6 in my electric kiln. Each one is highly detailed. Each button has a shank on the back which is the best for sweaters and knits. The buttons have been carefully sanded and smoothed so that they won't snag on your delicate fabrics.
