Vintage Mechanical Valentines Day Card
This mechanical card is riveted at the boy clown’s elbow and his entire upper body moves to reveal a little girl clown peeking out of his pants. Paper card has yellowed with age but colors are still bright and is Unused. It does not come with an envelope. I do not know who or when this card was made but I’d say around the 40s or 50s. Size: 3-3/4” X 6-1/4”

The next few days I hope to list a bunch of Vintage Valentine Items that I found on the 1 - 27 Sale that was the first week-end in August. If you have never been you should plan on going next year. It is the first weekend that has a Thursday in it. Some people set up as early as the week before . I am very fortunate to live only 30 miles from it so I can shop everyday when possible. This wonderful 1950s - 1960's Valentine Card is by Rust Cards. This cute puppy is all decked out in a circus hat and is jumping thru a hoop for the elephant dress like the ring master. This is a large car and stands up. 9 1/2 inches tall and almost 7 inches wide. The card has a glossy finish and stands out. There is no writing or tears, holes or anything bad. There is a little bit of discoloration on the corners where tape was holding it in the scrapbook.

This vintage card is in excellent, unused condition. There is some yellowing on back, but the front is fine. This is a school-like valentine that has a front and back only and does not open. Larger size and measures 4 1/2" x 8 1/2". There is no envelope.
