Valentine LOVE Wood Blocks - Holiday Decoration - Mantle Shelf Sitter Valentine Decoration
Pretty various sized blocks to spell Love for Valentines Day. The blocks for the "L" are 1 3/4" x 11" long. The other 3 are 5", 10", 8". The letters are cut from 1/8 Baltic birch - painted and then coated with crystal twinkle paint. Dangling hearts are cut from 1/8" Baltic birch - painted a deep red and then coated with red glitter paint. Blocks were stained with a maple stain then a pretty mottled pink scrapbook paper was used as the background. Letters and hearts are attached with wood glue. Entire piece measures 12 1/2" long and 11 3/4" tall. All pieces are varnished.

They have been cut from 2x4 pine lumber, roughly sanded, and painted with acrylic paints. The middle block has been decoupaged with quality scrapbook paper and Mod Podge Medium. A set of 3, 2x3 blocks cut and roughly sanded. They have been painted with acrylic paints and speckled with white. The edges have been sanded and they've been sprayed with a protective matte finish. The middle (small) block has a wooden heart that has been decoupaged with scrapbook paper and glued to the block. The letter blocks also have a coat of mod podge on them to keep the letters from lifting A small bow cut from ribbon completes the embellishment. The lettering is white vinyl.

Cut from 2x3 pine lumber, these blocks have been painted with acrylic paints. The 'I' block has been decoupaged while the other two have flecks of paint on them. The "LOVE" block has small painted hearts on it. The lettering for the "I" and "You" block are almond colored vinyl and the "Love" is red vinyl. A polka dotted red bow has been glued to the top block. Measurements are approx. 10" tall. The blocks are (from smallest to largest), 3 1/4", 5", and 6".

The L and E are large, the O and V are small blocks, the word true is one block by itself. There are five blocks in this set. All the blocks are painted in a deep red, lettering in cream and all the lettering has been glittered. The glitter is clear to blend in with the cream writing. I have cut the blocks out of pine, meaning its full of the wood's natural imperfections, which make each set unique. All lettering is done in cream. The edges have been sanded slightly for a rough, used look, and I finished off each block with a matte finish. ~Measurements (so you know it will fit in that perfect spot you have!) Love always wood block - a message to someone special - and suitable decor year around! Perfect on a table, shelf or mantle, it's also a thoughtful Valentine's Day or Mother's Day gift. Measuring 9" long, 3-3/8" high by 3-3/8 high by 1-1/4 " thick, the block was sanded, stained and a lovely piece of aged scrapbook paper was glued on. It was then embellished with a scrap a of a vintage doily, a stained and painted wood heart, a wood button, and a tag. After hand lettering, it was sealed with several coats of satin varnish and three decorative half pearls were attached to complete the shabby country look.
