The text says, "A Valentine Message, " and on the inside: "I am no Fairy Godmother, Can send no golden treasure, This little gift, I have for you, I hope, will bring you pleasure!" This small card is beautifully chromolithographed and nicely embossed with lots of fine detail, especially in the embossing of the hair. (Be sure to click "zoom" on the photos.) The pages are secured with a red ribbon. The die-cut hearts are in nice shape, with just a tiny amount of wear. The back has some spots and the paper has a little tanning, but it is overall in very good condition. This card would be beautiful in a frame, alone or combined with other treasures.
